Days @ FOS

General manager firing his secretary sumithra in his army tone “Balls ,where’s the charger ,mera mobile ka charge baat karthehe khatgaya, cant u see to it that it is always plugged to my switch board” , hearing this sumithra’s eyes started to fill with tear drops, jav,jav apana kam karo.sumithra comes out of the GM’s room crying. outside his room there was a pin drop silence. it had been two days since i joined this job as a design engineer. i was totally thrilled to see this colonel had a big mouth, i never cared for his gallies, after he finished his meeting he came out to see the design manager Sadiq Basha. while talking to him, i think i had his attention, as i was sitting next to sadiq , GM asked who is this chap ,what's he doing here that to in a hard tone. i was afraid for a moment later he came to know that i was appointed 2 days before.

Design team was small of which the senior designer kiran looked comedian with a power glass , the staring Arun ,smiley Arun DH ,scope Ramesha ,dear Dhana & me . Within a few days i started to handle project’s, i was very different from others in the team the working style & looks, i used to go with socks and chappals when every one was on shoes. we used to work 12 hrs a day. i enjoyed it,work ,people,office, shop floor, but the only negative thing was that i was not getting enough time to study for my PG exams. life at Bangalore was taking the juice out of me. days went on everyone liked the way i work as a result of which they handed some big projects worth 20 million. the creamy part about the work was to have meetings with mind blowing female architects, it was a treat for eyes .

Under the rolling days, i was put under a different team which was responsible for doing more responsible job, both designing & Managing the projects. now working under shylendra & satish venkatesh both experienced persons was difficult, as they were very punctual in there work. Sandeep a newly appointed designer always envy d me as i normally had more female architect than he had. chandrashekar buddi always fired by shylindra for doing some screw up’s, but he was much better than kiran sir who had mastered screw up’s .

MD’s of the company Deran gopal & Manohar gopal were good business mens .especially the Mg to good in marketing skills . Vishwadeep and party a marketing team used to bring atom bomb news to us. One day i was surprised to hear sadiq is switching for a much high paid job abroad. he packed his bags a week later, his habit of switching jobs had already caught the staring Arun, DH & finally me. after 6 months i heard that the habit had spread to Sandeep, Dhana & Vishwadeep. i am still in touch with kiran sir he will be calling me now and then.
